MICHIGAN CITY — Celebrate summer and Lake Michigan at Jammin with Save the Dunes. This event will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. June 4 at Washington Park's Guy Foreman Amphitheater This 6th annual fundraiser for Save the Dunes--one of Northwest Indiana's oldest environmental nonprofit organizations--supports year round efforts to preserve, protect, and restore Indiana Dunes.
This year's headliner is Mr. Blotto, a jam band from Chicago, blending hard rock, southern rock, folk music, and country rock. The Corey Dennison Band will perform. Their blues music is featured frequently in local venues. Karen Banks-Lubicz of the Old Town of Folk Music and her bandmates will entertain families and kids with fun, engaging songs to kick off the event.
There will be local food vendors and breweries.
All ages are welcome with family centered activities featured from 4 to 6 p.m. Purchase tickets on Eventbrite or paper tickets are available from Shoreline Brewery for $15. Mobile or paper tickets will be accepted at the gate. Admission is $20 at the gate. Cash or credit cards will be accepted the day of the event. Beer/Wine tickets are $5 each. Parking is $7. Children under 12 get in free. Must be 21 to consume alcohol with valid photo ID. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music!
