OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - William Andrew Vereb, Jr., 33, recently of Oklahoma City, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018. Billy, 'Little Bill', or 'Biddy' was born on December 28, 1984 in Anchorage, AK. The family later returned to Valparaiso, the town he has always considered 'home'. He attended schools in Valparaiso and Washington Township graduating from VHS in 2003.
Most aspects of Billy's life involved his avid love of sports, from baseball on youth and school teams, to watching events for NWI and Chicago teams. Billy will always be one of the greatest Blackhawk, Bears, and Cubbie fans. He was also a devouring reader, of all things bound, published, or internet searchable. His brilliant mind and love of sports made him the go-to guy you wanted on your trivia team. His love and connection to family led Bill to move to San Antonio, a return to Valpo, on to Las Vegas, and last to Oklahoma City.
Billy is mourned by his mother andfather, Sandra S. Stanley Vereb and William A. Vereb, Sr.; brother, Andrew J. Vereb and sister, Angela R. Vereb Dail; niece and nephew, Katie and Bryce; grandmother Beverly R. Bicknese; and great uncle Ronald L. Bicknese.Bill will be lovingly remembered by his Aunts and Uncles: Janet and Gerry Stanley, Mike Stanley, Irene Vereb, John and Susan Vereb, and Cynthia Fabian. The devoted clan of cousins he's leaving behind consists of: Justin and Crystal Stanley, Justin and Jenny Howard, Kacie Furlong, Ryan Stanley, Kirstie Stanley, Brad and Cassandra Vereb, Matthew Vereb, Joe and Jeannette Gregory, Julianne Fabian, and Jonathan Fabian.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at MOELLER FUNERAL HOME, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso with a Funeral Service beginning at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the family.
