Patricia K. Duffield
ST. ANNE, IL - Patricia K. Duffield (nee Roberts), 87, of St. Anne, formerly of Dolton, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018 at her home. She was born on April 29, 1931 in Chicago, the daughter of Clarence and Ella Chulpsa Roberts. Patricia married Robert Duffield on August 25, 1991.
Patricia was a homemaker. Many years ago, she worked for Ford Aircraft making blueprints. She enjoyed all her dogs over the years, her chickens, playing bingo and most of all, going to garage sales. Robert and Patricia were Santa and Mrs. Claus for many years during Christmas time – Robert being remembered as the “Hieland Road Santa Claus”. Patricia was of Lutheran faith and loved to be around her family.
She is survived by her husband Robert Duffield of St. Anne; one daughter Debra (Tony) Gass of Monticello, IN; four sons Jack Kerrick of Little Rock, AK, James (LeAndra) Kerrick of Lake Tomahawk, WI, Bryan (Linda) Kerrick of St. John, IN and Timothy (Traci) Duffield of Monroe, LA; one sister Clarette Johnson of Crown Point, IN; twelve grandchildren Tami (Rodney) Bolton, Dean Tucker, Daniel Tucker, Bradley Kerrick, Sara Kerrick, Kelly Kerrick, Tyler Kerrick, Lauren Kerrick, Brendan Kerrick, Jeremy Duffield, Aaron Duffield and Megan Boatner; eleven great-grandchildren Cody Tucker, Cooper Bolton, Kaleb Beeson, Brooklyn Kerrick, Lilly Purser, Timothy Purser, Dolton Tucker, Logan Duffield, Alissa Duffield, William Duffield and Skylar Boatner; sisters-in-law Judy Grob, Audrey Truesdale, Mary Leitz, Shirley Connors, Jeanette Grob and Anne Lambert; brothers-in-law Art Lambert and Gerald Levesque; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in by her parents, two sisters and brothers-in-law Joyce and Joseph Baraban and Alabelle and Charles Mamroth, and two brothers-in-law Russell Johnson and Roger Lambert.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 4-8pm at Schreffler Funeral Home in Kankakee. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 10am also at the funeral home.
