Organizers said the event will focus on the balance women face in their daily lives at work and home with much of the focus on the search for happiness.

Hart has appeared on CNN and Fox, and on ABC's Politically Incorrect. She recently released a book, "It Takes a Parent: How the Culture of Pushover Parenting is Hurting Our Kids ... and What to Do About It." She was featured on Oprah as one of America's top five female columnists.

The event will be held at 5:30 p.m., May 4, at Pikk's Tavern, 62 W.  Lincolnway, Valparaiso. Tickets cost $40 for BWUN members, and $45 for non-members. A buffet style meal will be included in the advanced ticket purchase price.

A book, signed by Hart, is available free to the first 30 ticket sales.

BWUN was formed nearly two years ago in Valparaiso. 

The group meets monthly in Michigan City, Valparaiso, Chesterton, and LaPorte. April Meeting dates remain for LaPorte at Arbor Hill Inn 8 a.m. April 21, and Chesterton Third Coast Spice Café 8 a.m. April 27.
