Congress needs to allow more information

We are told repeatedly that we practice capitalism here with the free market working to make products better. But the foundation for it to work is informed consumers.

So why did the House pass a law forbidding any state from demanding GMO (genetically modified organism) labeling?

Where are studies that show adding elements of Roundup to food plants are safe in any way, shape or form? Europe forbids any and all of our GMO produce. What do they know that our Congress is too cowardly to act on?

Have corporations bought and now own Congress? They spend time doing nothing but keeping information that could save lives buried, to save their “owners” from lawsuits.

What happened to us, to allow this bunch of lawmakers to protect corporations against us?

None of them are keeping the oath they made to become a member of Congress, and we have to find those who will.

Barbara DeLeon, Chesterton
