My Grand Old Flag with colors red, white and blue. As I see my flag swaying in the blue sky above, I think of two things: the freedom it means to me. I have the freedom to live the way I choose while doing no harm to others and to show respect to all I encounter with, while obeying the laws of the land.

My grand old flag gives me the opportunity to attend the school of my choice, Indiana University, and to choose the religion of my choice and to read God's Holy word as I choose.

My grand old flag meant the military, the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines, had fought on every shore to protect my flag flowing in the sky that gives me freedom every day to show my respect to my grand old flag as she waves to me from the sky above.

May we never abuse our rights to freedom, because that is what the grand old flag means to me — my freedom.
