2017 Letters to the editor stock

I understand there is a great deal of interest in raising the age for all firearms purchases to at least 21. I agree. Let us go further.

If an individual cannot be trusted to own a firearm until they are 21, then why should they be trusted to vote, drink, drive, marry, hold elective office, consent to sexual contact or join the military until they are 21? It only seems fair.
