Several weeks ago at my final appointment with Dr. Arvind Gandhi, I recalled my first visit in 1988 and the exceptional care and concern he provided.
In the last 26 years, Dr. Gandhi took care of me, my husband, and my mother, and never once did I question his diagnosis or course of treatment for any of us.
Dr. Gandhi’s dedication to his patients was apparent when he canceled his office appointments to rush to the hospital to save my husband’s leg.
As a kidney and pancreas transplant recipient, Dr. Gandhi made certain every procedure and medication prescribed would not adversely affect the donated organs.
My confidence in Dr. Gandhi has never wavered, and I feel fortunate to have had him as my cardiologist for so many years.
With Dr. Gandhi’s retirement, the community is losing a consummate medical professional who undoubtedly saved many lives and provided excellent medical care.
