Unregulated capitalism only works for the 'haves'

Mitt Romney said corporations are people, too, my friend. In other words, corporations are now the people, my friend.

The lady senator from Massachusetts said the system is rigged in favor of the ultra-rich.

The Reagan trickle-down economics rapping of the middle class began in the '80s. Billionaires began purchasing conflict-of-interest senators to subvert the people's interest. This allowed the special interests to control all tax codes and regulatory laws.

These predatory billion-dollar corporations now own most TV and talk radio access in the nation. This makes it inexpensive and easy to indoctrinate the gullible public.

Can there be any other reason for people to believe all economic benefit should flow to the top 10 percent? Do we really believe this outcome will ultimately benefit all of us? How gullible are we? When has this ever worked and where? I believe this would be a better nation if the majority of lawmakers and judges answered to the middle class needs.

Are we brave enough and solution-oriented enough to ask, does unregulated capitalism work for everyone or just for the haves?
