CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) -- Chas McCormick hit a two-run single in the sixth inning, leading the Corpus Christi Hooks to a 4-3 win over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals on Thursday.

The single by McCormick gave the Hooks a 4-3 lead and capped a four-run inning for Corpus Christi. Earlier in the inning, Abraham Toro hit an RBI single and Granden Goetzman hit an RBI double.

NW Arkansas took a 3-0 lead when Gabriel Cancel scored on a wild pitch in the sixth inning.

Brandon Bielak (1-0) got the win in relief while NW Arkansas starter Conner Greene (2-1) took the loss in the Texas League game.
