The Lake County Vote Fraud Task Force has issued arrest warrants and filed nine felony charges against eight more people linked to voter fraud in the 2003 Lake County primary elections, the Indiana Attorney General's office announced this morning.
The newest charges, including two East Chicago Fire Department captains, a former East Chicago policeman, and other East Chicago municipal employees, bring the total number of people charged to 53.
Those charged with voting in another precinct are:
-- Ricardo Alamillo, 35, Hammond.
-- Ezequiel Godinez, 53, Merrillville, a former electrical maintenance supervisor for East Chicago.

-- Michael Harretos, 63, Schererville, a former filtration plant manager for East Chicago.
-- Demetreos A. Hasapis, 43, Munster, a fire department captain.
-- Ronald W. Komendat, 53, Highland, a former police officer.
-- Mabel Komendat, 44, Highland. Two counts.
-- Joseph R. Pedraza, 63, St. John, a fire department captain and fire department mechanic.
-- Constance D. Simmons-Pedraza, 52, St. John, a paraprofessional with the School City of East Chicago.
