Bishop Noll's boys soccer team scored three second-half goals to defeat Garrett 3-0 Saturday in the semifinals of the Class 2A Mishawaka Marian Regional.

Inclement weather postponed the title game. The Warriors will face West Lafayette at 6 p.m. Monday.

Girls volleyball

South Bend Clay Sectional: Penn swept LaPorte 25-14, 25-13, 25-16 for a Class 4A title.

The Slicers (23-8) advanced to the title match with 25-20, 23-25, 25-20, 21-25, 15-11 over Plymouth.

Reilly Briggs had 19 kills for LaPorte. Kara Cooper added 14 kills and four block kills.

Kankakee Valley Sectional: Hanover Central outlasted the host Kougars 23-25, 25-13, 25-19, 23-25, 15-13 for a Class 3A sectional title.

The Wildcats swept Calumet 25-14, 25-13, 25-15 in the semifinals. The Kougars defeated Wheeler 26-24, 12-15, 25-23, 25-21 to advance to the championship.

Gavit Sectional: Briah Strezo had nine kills and 13 digs to lead Grififth over the host Gladiators 26-24, 21-25, 25-8, 25-21 for a Class 3A sectional title.

Jenna Brown added nine kills, four blocks and four aces.

Boys tennis

Chesterton duo falls in regional title match: Chesterton's Blake Ellenwood and Chad Whaler lost 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) to NorthWood's Brant Mast and Jared Hofman in the regional title match of the individual state doubles tournament at LaPorte.

Ellenwood and Whaler advanced to the title match with a 7-5, 6-4 win over Bremen's Jacob Strehler and Bryce Sterling.

Kankakee Valley's Sam Sanders and Tody Aldrich lost 6-1, 6-0 to Mast and Hofman in the other semifinal.

Lowell's Luke Fleming lost 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 to Elkhart Christian's Issac Miller in the semifinals of the singles tourney.
