Hammond Academy canceled the remainder of its girls basketball season due to injuries and lack of participation.
"The 2017-18 Hammond Academy Hawks are cancelling their girls basketball season," athletic director Eric Speer said. "The Hawks had 12 girls to start the season, but after recent injuries and eligbility issues, our girls do not have enough to participate in a full JV or varsity schedule.
