Stacey Barron had a hat trick and an assist to lead Marquette Catholic to a 5-0 win Wednesday over Bishop Noll in girls soccer play 

Claire Salyer added a goal and an assist for the Blazers (8-3). Kassandra Loza had a goal. Riley Lindsey had three saves to preserve the shutout.

Kouts 3, Clark 1: Serena Birmingham, Kaitlyn Hussung, and Kennedi Sternberg all scored goals for the Fillies.

Girls volleyball

River Forest 25-25-25, Clark 18-12-18: Abby Galligan led the Ingots with eight kills.

Wheeler 25-25-25, Hammond Gavit 17-13-7: Emma Santos led the Bearcats past the Gladiators with 16 assists.

Teammates Brooke Perry and Karley Jevert had eight kills. Hannah Shields chipped in with five kills while Ellie Bravo had eight assists and Breanna Lucas had seven digs.

Lowell 25-25-25, Griffith 15-14-13: Gabriela Malave had nine kills and three aces to push the Red Devils (8-9) past the Panthers in Northwest Crossroads Conference play.

Genevieve Grah added eight kills and five digs for Lowell.

Munster 194, Hanover Central 228: Medalists Izzy Bednarowski (47) and Gabie Ingaglia (47) lead Munster (9-3) over Hanover Central.

Hebron 26, Kouts 31; Hebron 15, Westville 50; Kouts 15, Westville 50: Holly Kuebler won the race in 21:21, but the Hawks edged the Filles.

LaCrosse 22, South Central 36; LaCrosse 15, Washington Township 49; South Central 17, Washington Township 46: The Satellites' Adelaide Young Brush finished first in 22:29, but the Tigers took the next four places to win the dual.

Morgan Township 15, Boone Grove INC: The Cherokees claimed the first nine places, headed by Alexis Longoria (25:47).

Boys cross country

Kouts 20, Hebron 36; Kouts 15, Westville INC; Hebron 15, Westville INC: The Hawks' Connor Nuest paced the field in 17:37, but the Mustangs had the next five places to secure the dual victory.

South Central 20, LaCrosse 34; Washington Township 16, LaCrosse 45; Washington Township 26, South Central 31: Logan Tabor (17:32) and Trenton Oelling of the Satellites went 1-2, but the Senators took the next four spots to pull out the win.

Morgan Township 16, Boone Grove 44: Carter Schnick (18:44) topped four Cherokees at the front of the pack.

Boys tennis

Highland 5, Hammond Academy 0: The No. 1 doubles team of Mason Gluth and Alex Lopez won 6-0, 6-0 to lead the Trojans (11-2).

Bishop Noll 1, Marquette Catholic 0: One goal by Jake Wichlinkski was enough for the Warriors.

Teammates Noah Reid had assist and Danny Salazar had two saves.

Crown Point 1, Valparaiso 0: Sebastian Moreno had the lone goal that led the Bulldogs (5-3-3) to a win in the Duneland Athletic Conference matchup.

Lowell 2, Hobart 1: Cj Udoltz led Lowell with 12 saves.
