Martha Bayor, 92, of Hobart, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2000. Martha was instrumental in helping to establish the Hobart Humane Society, a retired clerk with the Indiana Toll Road with 20 years of service. She was a member of the Vivian Society. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Attorney Hosea Adams Bayor and son, Charles R. Bayor. Survivors: one daughter, Frankie (Donald) Stewart of Hobart; one daughter-in-law, Jeanne Bayor of Wheaton, IL; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two nephews, several great-nieces and nephews and one cousin.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2000 at 1 P.M. at the Burns Funeral Home (Hobart), corner of RT 51 and 7th Street, Rev. John R. Barley officiating. Cremation by Burns Funeral Home Crematory will precede memorial services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hobart Humane Society or to the Leukemia Society of America.

Dado who passed away June 28, 1984. J.Matthew Geeze, 19, ascended into Heaven on October 31, 2000 at the Mary Bartz VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso, IN. He was a lifelong resident of Lake Station, IN. Matthew was a student and graduate of Northwest Indiana Special Education Co-Op in Crown Point. He was born to Richard and Brenda (Harth) Geeze on July 5, 1981. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Walter Geeze and baby sister; special friends: Mindi, Embry and Jason. He is survived by his devoted sister, Shannon Brewer (Jay Smelley) of Oklahoma City, OK; loving brother, Shawn Brewer (Melissa) McGregor, of Portage, IN; special niece, Madison Brewer; two loving nephews: Skyler Brewer and Sinjin Smelley; maternal grandparents: Herbert (Edna) Harth, of Valparaiso, IN; paternal grandmother, Margaret Geeze, of Brackettville, TX; four siblings: Richard Geeze,of Boise, ID, Thomas Geeze, of Chesterton, IN, Lisa Holley, of Merrillville, IN, and Cindi Geeze, of Chicago, IL; seven nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
